We teach violin, viola, cello and bass in this class. It’s hard at first, and the sound isn’t in tune or nice to listen to, but by the 3rd month the class is advancing well and playing some really fun music. Regular practice must take place at home otherwise children languish and give up quickly.
We emphasize tone production, technique, scales and music theory.
From this class, young musicians will be ready for the intermediate level of orchestra by the following year.
